A cover letter is not just about who you are as a person, but more about how you match up with the job being advertised. Once you have the job description in hand, you can note parallels between your own skills and those required for the position. For instance, if the job requires specific graphic design software or computer applications, you can list your qualifications as they pertain to these requirements in the body of your cover letter.
